Abby Hitchler

Abby Hitchler is a native of West Point, Nebraska, and graduated from West Point- Beemer Jr/Sr High School. She attended South Dakota State University where she received a major in Agriculture Education with minors in Animal Science and Language Arts. While at SDSU, Abby was a member of the Women's Varsity Equestrian Team and competed nationally. Abby began her first teaching job in Spalding during the 2009-2010 school year and remained there through 2013-2014. In the fall of 2014, she began as the agriculture teacher and FFA advisor at Boone Central. She teaches numerous classes each year ranging from Introduction to Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources, to Welding, to Animal Science, and various other courses. Abby enjoys working with FFA students and preparing them for various contests and competitions. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors and doing various projects.
